What you control
A username, no email needed
A counter helper rarely has a spare email or phone number to give you. You just set a username and a password for them, and they sign in on the same login page you use.
Four ready roles
Cashier, Salesperson, Inventory manager and Manager come ready to use. Pick one while adding the person and the permissions come with it. All four can bill — that’s the job.
Change a role to fit your shop
Tick or untick what a role may do — stock, customers and udhaar, reports, cost and profit. The change is for your shop only, and it applies at once, even to someone already signed in.
Your cost and margin stay yours
Purchase rate is hidden from staff unless you switch it on for that role. They can bill all day without ever seeing what you paid or what you make on it.
Money screens are owner-only
Expenses, purchases and suppliers, cash book, P&L, tax and balance-sheet reports, shop settings and your subscription — no role reaches those. It isn’t a tick box you might forget; staff simply can’t open them.
Cut off access in one tap
Someone leaves and you remove them — signed out everywhere immediately, and they can’t log back in. Resetting a password works the same way, so an old password stops being a worry.
Set one up in two minutes
Open Staff
On the Medium plan, open Staff from the menu and tap Add. You get up to five staff logins for the shop.
Name, username, role
Type their name, choose a username and password, pick a role. That’s the whole form — no email, no OTP.
Hand it over
Adjust the role’s ticks if you want, then give them the username and password. They sign in on the same page you do.
Staff logins — common questions
Can I give my worker a login without sharing my own?
Yes. On the Medium plan you add staff from the Staff screen — each one gets their own username and password, and signs in on the same login page. Your own account stays yours.
Does my helper need an email or phone number?
No. You pick a username and a password for them. Nothing to verify, no OTP, no email of their own.
Can staff see my purchase cost and profit?
No, not unless you allow it. Purchase rate is hidden for staff logins by default, and cost and profit is a separate permission you can switch on for a role if you want a trusted manager to see it.
What can staff never see, whatever their role?
Expenses, purchases and suppliers, the cash book, P&L / tax / balance-sheet reports, smart stock insights, shop settings, your subscription, and the staff list itself. Those are owner-only and no role can be given access to them.
Can I change what a role is allowed to do?
Yes. Open the role, tick or untick stock, customers and udhaar, reports and cost-and-profit, and save. It applies to your shop only, and takes effect straight away for everyone holding that role.
Do other billing apps let me change what a role can do?
Adding a second user is common; being allowed to decide what that user may touch is not. Most apps give you a ready list of roles and a cashier is whatever the app decided a cashier is. What are the four roles?
Cashier bills at the counter. Salesperson bills and handles customers and udhaar. Inventory manager bills and manages stock. Manager gets the day-to-day run of the shop including reports, but still not your accounting or settings. You can edit any of them.

Up to five for one shop on the Medium plan. The multi-branch plan allows twenty.
What happens when a worker leaves?
Remove them from the Staff screen. They are signed out on every device at once and cannot log in again. Nothing they billed is lost.
