Do I need a GST number to use BazarBook?
No. If you are not registered, you make a normal bill with the total. If you are registered, switch GST on and it prints a tax invoice with your GSTIN and the tax break-up.
Can I use it in Gujarati or Hindi?
Yes. The whole app runs in Gujarati, Hindi or English, and voice billing understands Hindi and Gujarati too.
What happens if my internet goes off in the middle of the day?
On the Windows desktop app you keep billing as usual — those sales are kept on that computer and sync on their own once the connection comes back. On the phone you need a connection to save a bill.
Can I sell loose items like rice and dal?
Yes. Set a per-kg or per-litre rate and sell any amount — 250 g, 750 g, 3 kg — and the price is worked out for you.
How do I keep track of who owes me money?
Mark the bill as udhaar and it is added to that customer's khata. You can see everyone's pending amount and send a WhatsApp reminder from their ledger.
Do I need a computer or a special machine?
No. It runs on your phone. A printer is optional, only if you want printed bills.
