Split payments
A customer does not always pay one way. If the bill is ₹850 and they hand over ₹300 cash and pay the rest online, BazarBook records both parts on the same checkout rather than making two fake sales.
At a shop counter
At the counter, enter the cash amount and the online amount before finalising. The bill shows how it was paid, and the payment history remains attached to the invoice.
How it works
One invoice
Split tender belongs to the original bill, so stock and revenue are not counted twice.
See each part
Cash and online amounts are recorded separately for later reconciliation.
Handle a remainder
Where the plan permits customer khata, any unpaid balance can remain due instead of being marked paid.
Good to know
Recording an online payment is not the same as processing it through a payment gateway; confirm that the customer actually paid.
