Offline billing on Windows
A network outage should not stop a Windows counter from serving the next customer. The BazarBook desktop app can keep tap-based billing going during a short interruption and queue those sales for sync when the connection comes back.
At a shop counter
The shop Wi-Fi drops while a customer is waiting. On the Windows app, complete the bill using the stock already on the device. When the connection returns, check that queued sales have synced.
How it works
Desktop-only offline queue
The Windows app stores queued sales locally and replays them when it reconnects.
Avoid duplicate sales
The sync path uses a sale identifier so a retry does not count the same sale twice.
See pending work
A pending/sync indicator and recovery flow help the owner check what still needs attention.
Good to know
Offline billing is not available in the phone browser, PWA or Android app. Voice billing and other online services still need a connection.
