Barcode billing and labels
For a shop with hundreds of packaged items, a code is faster than typing a name. BazarBook lets you attach a barcode to a stock item, scan it at the counter and add the matching item to a bill. You can still search or tap an item without a code.
At a shop counter
A customer brings two packets with similar names. Scan each label and check the matching product and price before charging. The barcode belongs to your shop stock record, so the scan does not have to guess from a global catalogue.
How it works
Scan at the counter
A USB or Bluetooth scanner can enter the code, and the phone-camera scanner is another option when camera access is available.
Match your own stock
Assign a code to an inventory item first. If a scan has no match, register the barcode against the right item rather than silently billing the wrong one.
Print a label
Print a compact barcode label for an item that needs one; choose the label printer from the print dialog.
Good to know
Camera scanning needs permission and a supported camera. Scanner hardware is optional; normal product search remains available.
